18 April 2007
Roundtable discussion “Climate Change – the creation of a North-South Climate Community” AGCC and European Movement International (EMI) co-organised a roundtable discussion in the European Parliament.
The main idea behind the event is that EU should take the lead with partners in the developing world in initiating a North-South Climate Community. Such a Community would address global warming in the context of long term, sustainable development, and provide European Foreign and Security Policy with a powerful uniting leitmotiv which is sorely needed after recent setbacks to the integration process.
